Free camera-trapping courses!

From December 2016 to the end of February 2017 BiOME Consulting are offering FREE in-house camera trapping seminars/training workshops to conservation organisations, consultancies and environmental bodies in and around Central Scotland.

Camera trapping has become an incredibly popular pastime, and cost-effective tool in ecological monitoring and recording. However, most users fail to maximise the cameras' potential. BiOME has been using camera traps for over a decade in just about every scenario possible, from monitoring carnivores in the Sahara and boreal forests of Europe, to Water Voles and Otters in the UK, small mammals, birds, and even reptiles. Over the course of 25,000 nights of trapping we have learnt the tricks of the trade; it would be our pleasure to divulge some of these top tips, providing advice and training onhow best to use cameras to your advantage, all from the comfort of your office.

Courses last up to 3 hours and can be tailored to the needs of the organisation.
