Bat Surveys in Shropshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire

The start of the 2020 bat survey season presented us with no shortage of Covid-19 related issues. However, this hiatus provided us with a useful opportunity to review our equipment stocks, carry out calibration/maintenance, ensure staff training was up-to-date and improve the range of bat detectors we hold. This has led to the purchase of 18 new MiniBat detectors to supplement our existing stocks, which are now available to our clients for static monitoring projects across the UK.

As restrictions began to lift, our midlands team have been busy undertaking Preliminary Roost Appraisals (subject to strict Covid-19 precautions) and nocturnal surveys to inform a variety of development projects, including numerous small scale housing renovations.

To ensure we provide our clients with an excellent service, and to ensure that we are continually improving we always ask for feedback on our performance. The below was received in relation to a recently completed bat related project in Shropshire.
