Victoria Smith Joins BiOME
Victoria joins BiOME having completed a BSc in Wildlife Conservation at Nottingham Trent University as a mature student, graduating with a first-class honours degree . During this time in education, she volunteered for the RSPB Frampton Marsh conducting habitat management work and visitor infrastructure support as well as volunteering at Lincolnshire Bat Group conducting emergence bat surveys and bat box checks.
Victoria has worked as a freelance ecologist for two years, undertaking bat and wintering bird surveys as well as completing certificates in UK Herpetology and Fungi with the Field Studies Council and a certificate for Aspiring Ecologists.
When not working Victoria is passionate about herpetology, owning two Leopard Geckos called Izzy and Lilo. She also enjoys going fungi hunting.
